Time with Jesus
A believer in Christ (a righteous person) should take time to be alone with Jesus to reflect and pray. We are counted righteous in the eyes of God when we receive Jesus by faith. "And be found in him, not having mine own righteousness, which is of the law, but that which is through the faith of Christ, the righteousness which is of God by faith:" Phil. 3:9
Spending time in daily devotion is important for personal growth in your walk with Him. You can pray outloud or you can pray to yourself. No matter which you prefer, He hears you.
"The LORD is far from the wicked: but he heareth the prayer of the righteous." Proverbs 15:29
Spend your mornings, afternoons and evenings with Jesus. Spend quality time with Jesus, alone. Hear God's Word from His Son and listen to what He is telling your heart. Trust Him, learn from Him. You will be rewarded for the time you spend with alone with Jesus in conversation. Prayer.
"But thou, when thou prayest, enter into thy closet, and when thou hast shut thy door, pray to thy Father which is in secret; and thy Father which seeth in secret shall reward thee openly." Matthew 6:6 (KJV)
A believer in Jesus must also take time to be with family to share God's Word to walk in faith together. Spending time with your loved ones in His Word and praying with them will strengthen your relationship with one another and with Him.
When you gather with family members in your living room, Jesus is right there with you.
"For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them." Matthew 18:20 (KJV)
