Glorifying Jesus Christ
When Jesus came to earth, fully human and fully divine, His purpose was to serve, not be served. That changed after His crucifixion, burial and resurrection. From that moment on, all mankind are to accept Him, praise Him, glorify Him and place His name above all names.
When the children of Jesus wake up each day they should desire nothing more than to glorify Him with their words and actions. To live each moment of every day for Him.
Jesus died for all of mankind so every person may have eternal life with Him in heaven. He has never promised us a perfect life on earth.
The goal of a humble child of Christ is to give hope to those who may not have hope.
To shine for Jesus as His guiding light to those who may be lost. To be His hands and feet here on earth, to lead others to Him, and share the same peace, love and joy that a humble child of Christ enjoys.
Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven. (KJV)
1 Corinthians 10:31
Whether therefore ye eat, or drink, or whatsoever ye do, do all to the glory of God. (KJV)
Thou art worthy, O Lord, to receive glory and honour and power: for thou hast created all things, and for thy pleasure they are and were created. (KJV)
